We charge a consignment fee based on the ebay final auction sales price. Please contact us regarding the consignment fees for specific items.

Zan's Antiques Consignment Fee covers the following services:
Taking Pictures of your item for the listing
Loading the Pictures
Listing your item with ebay
Answering questions via email from ebayers
Closing the sale & collecting payment
Packaging your item for shipping
Costs of packaging
Shipping the item
Providing Itemized lists of your sales
Paying ebay fees out your 'sales' for you
Confidentiality of Sellers and Buyers

Here is the Basic Process:
1. Contact Zan's Antiques
2. Arrange a meeting
3. Bring your item
4. Fill out and Sign a Consignment Agreement (you get a copy)
5. You get a receipt for your item
6. Zan's Antiques will list the item for sale on ebay
7. If the item does not sell, you pay the ebay fees and your item is returned to you, or if you like it can be relisted.
8. If the items sells, you pay the ebay/paypal fees and Zan's consignment fee, out of your 'sale' money, your item is shipped to the new buyer and you are PAID for your auctions.

Zan's Antiques Consignment Fees for Ebay auctions:

<$30.00 ---------------------> 30%
$30.01 - $100.00 ------------> 20%
$100.01 - $1000.00 ----------> 15%

Ebay Fees paid by the Consignor includes any of the following:
Ebay Listing Fee (range $.25 to $4.80 per item)
Buy It Now Feature Fee ($.05 to $0.25 per item)
10-day Auction Fee ($0.40 per item)
Gallery Posting Fee ($0.35 per item)
Picture Posting Fee - First picture is Free. Maximum number of pictures is 23. Pictures two through 23 are charged at $0.15 per picture.
Ebay Final Value Fee (only if item sells):
If the item sold for $25, ebay takes 5.25% of $25 = $1.31
If the item sold for $250, ebay takes 5.25% of the first
$25 and then 2.75% of the remaining $225 = $7.49
If the item sold for $2250, ebay takes 5.25% of the first $25 and then 2.75% of the $975, and then 1.5% of the remaining $1250 = $46.87.
Paypal Transaction Fee: 2.9% of transaction amount + $0.30.
All of the above Fees are paid by the Consignor in addition to Zan's Antiques Consignment Fee. If you had listed the item yourself you would have paid these exact fees to ebay/paypal as listed above. Zan's Antiques Consignment Fee pays for our services to you, which includes the listing & selling & shipping for you.
